Project Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

ICC's Assessment Center is responsible for development and administration of testing-related services, including internationally-recognized certification program, a suite of contractor/trade examinations, and contract testing services. This division currently has a full-time staff of 15, led by the Director of the Assessment Center.

The Project Coordinator will work with a close-knit Support Team to assist and continuously improve both the Test Development and Test Administration areas. The Project Coordinator reports to the Manager of Test Development or the Manager of Assessment Center.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Using itembanking software to create and revise examinations, for administration through multiple testing methods
  • Maintaining records and applications consistent with departmental policy
  • Taking committee or other meeting minutes as requested, with a high level of accuracy
  • Special project work as assigned, to support new departmental and company initiatives such as digital badging, data forensics, and others
  • Data entry work for credential registries and databases for increased footprint of credentialing programs
  • Testing of new IT projects as they relate to the Assessment Center
  • Maintaining adequate office supplies and ordering as necessary
  • Participating in telephone queue and other candidate interaction functions as scheduled
  • Reporting and providing statistics to team members as requested
  • Working with pre-authorization clients and candidates
  • Cross-training with other team members to perform back-up functions as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in business management or related field strongly preferred 
  • Team-first attitude with a focus on how to serve the association's current and prospective Members
  • Process tracking and improvement skills
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Diplomacy, discretion, and flexibility to adapt to quickly changing projects and multiple deadlines
  • High written and verbal communication and ability to uniformly follow precise procedures
  • Ability to work individually as assigned, as well as part of teams or work groups
  • Grace under pressure with a fast-paced mindset
  • Must be proficient in MS Office and able to quickly learn in-house computer software programs
  • Knowledge of construction industry terms and processes desired, but not required
