Assessment Center Manager


 ICC's Assessment Center is responsible for development and administration of testing-related services, including internationally recognized certification program, a suite of contractor/trade examinations, and contract testing services. This division currently has a full-time staff of 15, led by the Director of the Assessment Center.

 The Assessment Center Manager oversees staff within the Test Administration/Assessment Center division and ensures Test Administration staff will deliver ICC examinations, etc.


  • Test production and delivery, both computer-based and online, in conjunction with the Assessment Center Manager
  • Client and vendor interface services: billing and scheduling
  • Quality control: critical toward zero defects
  • Customer care: Answer questions and address concerns for customers via phone, email, internet, fax, and other medium
  • Operational control:
    • Timekeeping and scheduling of Test Administration staff
    • Assist Director in carrying out strategic planning to meet departmental and company-wide goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.



  • Bachelor's Degree in business management or related field strongly preferred
  • Supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment call center supervision experience highly preferred
  • Pro-active management style that addresses staff related issues quickly and fairly
  • Ability to create a positive, collaborative and empowering work environment
  • Commitment to creating a culture of customer service excellence within Test Administration, Assessment Center, and ICC
  • Strong focus on addressing customer needs with a sense of urgency
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Team-first attitude with a focus on how to better serve the association's current and prospective Members
  • Ability to follow an item through to completion
  • Ability to be proactive and plan for the future

  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Diplomacy, discretion, and flexibility to adapt to quickly changing projects and multiple critical hard-stop deadlines
  • High written and verbal communication ability
  • Exposure to construction related work content desired.
  • Proficient in MS Office and capable of quickly learning in-house computer software programs
  • Must be comfortable in dealing with multiple levels of staff
